CANDYROT: Using a mix of vintage materials and new design, the CandyRot line boasts recylcled glamour. The likeness of festering cupcakes....half eaten chocolates.....cherry oozing out....flies trapped in the gushy goodness...captured in the sap of sugar.....a little bit sweet....a little bit dark.
Each item by CandyRot is unique and handmade.

CROWDED TEETH: Crowded Teeth is Michelle; a 23 year-old LA resident who like many of our designers has a regular 40 hour a week job, and the rest of her time is spent making adorable garments for boys and gals! She started learning Illustrator and Photoshop when she was 16 – and low and behold look at her now! Her Go-Outside series, among other favorites, such as damask squirrel, were big hits here in the dollshop. We can’t wait to see what she cooks up next!

JESSICA LOUISE: If you know me at all – in the least – you know that I have been wearing this pink hoodie with bear ears for years now. Well, I am no longer going to tell you to go somewhere else to find these amazing sweatshirts and tops. Starting in April 2007 we will be opening up our store arms to the wonder that is Jessica Louise. Bear hoodies, crops, skull tanks, ice cream cone garters, pirate sweaters, oh my!

JUDI ROSEN: K, ladies. Now that I know we have released Judi’s bells into the general population here in the NW – I’m sure we’re going to start hearing legendary tales about how great your ass looks from complete strangers on the street. Raincoats, short shorts, new bells and new nylons are soon to be in the shop. Come and get your sweet tushes in hea’!

KRISTIN FERRELL: Uber glam gal Kristin makes uber creepy prints on a mix of wearables including shirts and hoodies that will get you all dolled up right. Severed finger anyone?

NISA SF: We’ve been in love with Nisa for quite some time now and the vests from the winter line (you know the ones) with the ruffle and all – amazing. We have new garments trickling in all year round so come in and get naked.

RED BOOTS: Erin J. Boyd who I just love, is such a doll and we are pleased to welcome her line of incredible screen printed wears into the love den we call – The Paperdoll. Check her out at www.redbootsdesign.com. I love the heart screen so much!

COLLETTE PENKETH: Bellingham got lucky when Collette decided to make our subdued town hers, too! Her refreshing necklaces inspired by birds and flowers are so frickin’ cute! Fly on in and check them out.

ERICA WEINER: Fashion forward gold jewelry creations from Hell’s Kitchen resident Erica with animal, tool and hardware inspirations. We heart these at the doll shop!

FERNWORKS: Seattle’s Faryn Davis makes fantastic resin necklaces using earth and sky inspirations. Light and beautiful – they sure are head turners.

FANCY: The name says it all – Sally Brock creates jet fighter cufflinks, alphabet rings and earrings, too cool for school.

FROZEN PEAS: Alberta’s handcrafted creations like wood earrings and love polar bear wallets are so amazing. People can’t stop talking about these.

FUZZ DESIGN WORKSHOP: Amazing acrylic and metal works jewelry straight from down unda’!

HANNAH CLARK: New York based Clark makes me stop and gasp everytime I walk in the store. Her bird and hand rosaries are so beautiful I can’t believe it.

Kristen Rask: Kristen makes the sweetest button rings and owl pins. We feature both here in the shop. (She is so cute by the way).

TATTY DEVINE: OMG. Get me some of that. Laser cut acrylic and wood jewelry makes you stop dead in your tracks. Dinos, octopus and horse and carriage necklaces are just a few of the marvelous things you will see in the Tatty case.

RETROPOLITAN: Hayley is awesome – and she makes rad chunky funky earrings in a rainbow of fab designs. A steal at fifteen smackers!

MADAME FORTUNA: You probably saw Carrie from ‘Sex in the City’ in her gypsy found art necklaces. TPD’s getting sexy sexy, too! By way of Allison from Madam Fortuna we will present select pieces from her collection,  bringin’ the blonde ambition straight to B-town!

CHARCOAL DESIGNS: YAY! Laura finished making our order just in time for the pre-Fall line-up. The paperdoll loves these necklaces, bracelets and earrings -- all a nod to the boy/girl, trinket pop culture.

DANIELLE MAVEAL / PRECIOUS PUPS: We just found Danielle and already we are so jazzed to have her. Fake etched diamond rings, pendant necklaces and earrings and even some puppy tags. We love her already!

31 CORN LANE: The Sperber Sisters create Fabulous Bags with Attitude. Pockets and durability. Yeehaw!

BENNIE AND OLIVE: Fantastic bags, wallets, pulp fiction mp3 players and so much more – you gotta check out the bar in wallets – can’t get enough.

CITY KITTY: Local Bellingham designer Sabrena Wright creates handcrafted bags, posey pins and envelopes that warm your heart.

DAMNED DOLLIES: I met Dana in DC (though she’s from Montreal) and instantly fell in love with her Damneddolly purses and shoes. We have lots of sizes in super fun colors – come and get it gurrrl.

DONDA DESIGNS: Ties, ties everywhere! Tie bags, tie roses. My tongues all tied up in knots about describing theses beauties. Come into the dollshop and check them out.

LA VOLEUSE: Meg and Stevie make me so happy. Mainly because their bags and shoes are the best thing since fanny packs and juice boxes. I love the Thursday bags so much – and they are so gosh darn well made. Check out the new Spring/Summer line in the shop!

POKETO: These wallets are out of control. Various artists and vinyl mix to make rad wallets that you can count on! Rarr.

SNAP: Michelle – don’t stop doing what you do! These were recommended to me by my sister – who loved her make-up bag. I can’t say enough about how well made and special each laptop bag, make-up bag, coin purse is.

FLUFFY CO : Mission District based FluffyCo creates vinyl wallets, cuffs, and everything else to doll you up in the most urban-hip way possible.

MELISSA BETH DESIGNS: I got these bags because – well – I really f$#*%^& hate black laptop totes. Seriously – if I see one more of you cute girls/boys/mammas/pappas out there with a snoozy black case I’m gonna come over to you and give you a piece of my mind. Get in here and get a dolled up case, okay?

PEAR: Messenger bags don’t all have to be black and blasé. With Pear’s carefully crafted totes, bags and even hair bands, you can feel and look stylish while toting around a big scary load.

PUCKISH: These boys are so frickin’ cute I can’t stand it. They make bungee cord bags out of their garage and look hot doing it. I mean the bags look good. (Im blushing)

EMMA GORDON: We got these in over the summer – and hunny, we <3 them! Bracelet handles, heart ruffles and rad interior linings make these anything but blasé!

REBE: Mothers and daughters do it better – in this case (we actually have laptop cases by the duo!) they do it up right - with amazing floral and whimsy fabrics stitched together and apart for one of a kind teeny OTS (over the shoulder) bags, wallets, laptop bags and cases.

LITTLEODDFOREST: If you haven’t checked out Lynda’s handmade little odd forest creations and knick-knacks, well then, I don’t know what to tell you. Get in here and monkey it up with a baboon wallet or get a little shroomy with a mogu pillow.

VINTAGE UNTAMED BY LIZ SAINTSING: Amazing one of a kind vintage bags, belts and travel gear screened with heavenly rich prints from earth and sky. These take wearable art to a whole new level of chic. Get it.

EX LIBRIS: I can’t say enough about these hard back vintage reads turned journals. Get you some!

BLISSEN: Jill’s old curtain and bed sheet cozies, totes and books are so harmonizing and sweet that it’s hard not to come in here and not grab some blissen bits every time you come in to go with your outfit.

GOOD ON PAPER: If you haven’t already checked out Lisa’s amazing Birthday Book, sticky notes or fabulous cards, you are missing out, boy! Her expertly illustrated products draw on images from nature and whimsy – making good on paper actually extrodinary on paper.

LA FAMILIA GREEN: Are you bitching about not finding the perfect card? Then cut it out and get up here, doll. Mollie Green cuts her little heart out with incredibly sweet handmade cards. If you need to put it on paper – then come on up to the doll shop.

NIKKI MCCLURE: Do I even need to tell you how awesome Nikki is? Olympia livin, exacto cuttin’, super crafty Nikki makes gorgeous calendars, artwork, cards, books and so much more. We got it.

OTSU: SF based Otsu operates out of the Misson District and works with amazing artists to promote paper products, etc. that take the average planner, address book to the next level of awesome.

PITTER PAINTER: Thes are the coolest cuffs and cards (with stitching!) – you will be tickled pink about how cool they are.

TRUCKSTOP INK: Somya creates groovy hookbaords and paper goods with screen prints to make you go-go gaga.

CONFISERIE: Tim and Stef are awesome screen printers that have a knack for creating the cutest lingerie and books on the planet – almost too frickin’ awesome to handle.

FLICKAFLY: The fantastic Elizabeth K. Ward is a jet setter and rad artist out of the Seattle area whose art and panties are featured in the paperdoll. We love you Elizabeth!

RED BOOTS DESIGNS: We have lingerie and puppy shirts from Erin that once on, will just make you want to touch yourself – a lot – and you might not be able to put your puppy down once they are in one of her uber cute screen printed tees. Oh yeah.


GUNLIS: This gal is a one-stop shop for everything racy and romantic. Start your engines girls, the paperdoll is now proud to showcase lacey undergarments and slips for layering or stand-alone fashions!

CRAM CREAM: Holy cow patties these adorable little items from Cram Cream make me want to scream! With joy of course! Mushroom timers, cpcake chopsticks, animal packing tape and so much more. Wrap it up, doll.

MY PAPER CRANE: Heidi Kennedy is the master of turning felt into the cutest gosh darn this and that creatures you have ever seen. She even makes tampons cute. WTF? We have a gaggle of her stuff in the shop right now including a 2 1/2 foot pink cake. Baby shower anyone? Cuz, hey, even babies need some accessorizing.

PANCAKE DINNER: Natalie Wright creates the most wicked pillows I’ve ever seen in crazy shapes like guns, milk and cookies, pancakes and steaks. Makes me wana head to IHOP!

RX DESIGN: These candles are so yummy – I just want to eat them. And the vintage cups are so cut they come in. I bet you wish you had thought of it first.

SALVOR: The Fauna collection is amazing – I mean - can you even believe these pillows? Photographic art on pillows from Brooklyn. Love it.

SEWDORKY: Donuts that look good enough to eat – use them for anything and everything. Get a dozen!
